Many times we repeat words over and over again without actually defining them on a deeper level. Zion is one of those words we come across numerous times in scripture, but who can discern it’s true meaning? Ancient Hebrew unveils the mystery behind the word “Zion” and why Israel was referred to as “Zion” in many prophetic ways.

For YAHUAH has chosen Tsiyon (H6726 ציּון/𐤑𐤉𐤅𐤍); he has desired it for his habitation. This is my rest forever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

TEHILLIYM (PSALMS) 132:13-14
Breaking the word “Zion” down in Ancient Hebrew reveals something quite intriguing…
We are to build our Sukkah in a elevated position to symbolize the exhaled dwelling place of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 on high. Zion symbolizes a desert, spiritually dry place like America, or a wilderness where Abba 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 elevates you & raises your vibrations, thereby leading you on a path to righteousness. It’s more than a mountain, it symbolizes your journey to salvation!

So, Tsiyon (Zion) actually means “Landmark: The marks in the desert which the nomad follows as road signs”? Now, it’s getting interesting 🤔… Where in the scriptures do we see a awakening a the dry place like a desert? You got it, Ezekiel 37, The Valley of Dry Bones.

THE hand of YAHUAH was upon me, and carried me out in the RUACH YAHUAH, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
YECHEZQ’EL (EZEKIEL) 37:1-2

So essentially, Yah is telling us that he has chosen Tsiyon, a spiritually parched place, to be his habitation because there he will come to revive the Dry Bones in the desert where we can come to Life if we follow his signs. How beautiful is this! That’s why David took the Ark of Covenant and made a separate Tabernacle for it in Mount Zion because it was prophetic about what will happen to his people in the last days. He did it as a symbol for Yah‘s presence dwelling in us, his Tabernacles, to show us the Way while we dwelled as nomads in Tsiyon. The Feast of Sukkoth is about the redemption of Zion!

Thus says ADONAI YAHUAH unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live.

YECHEZQ’EL (EZEKIEL) 37:5

We are his Tabernacles & our spirits are in Tsiyon, but if we follow his signs through his Word, he will revive our parched spirits to give us life, and then He will judge the nations. HalleluYAH! 👳🏾‍♀️🕎

The word “Hill” in Psalms 3:4 is Mem (water, spirit, life), Hey (Behold, Praise, Revelation), and Resh (Strong Leader, Head, Man). So essentially “Holy Hill” is a “Set-Apart Spiritual Place Where the Strong Leader Goes to Give Praise.”

So as you celebrate Sukkoth do so with the understanding that it is leading you through a spiritually dry place to raise your vibrations through praise and prayer. So even if you don’t anyone to fellowship with, a fancy tent, or a high place to camp, just know that as long as you are praising and rejoicing before the Most High 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, you are already covered in his Sukkah. If you rejoice over what you have already Yah will give you more.

3. For YAHUWAH shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of YAHUWAH ; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

4. Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a Torah shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people.

5. My righteousness is near; my yeshu`ah (salvation) is gone forth, and my arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on my arm shall they trust.

6. Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my yeshu`ah (salvation) shall be forever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

YASHA’YAHU (ISAIAH) 51:3-6

I pray that this message has been a blessing to you… Grace & Peace…
