1925: The most recent conclave, held in 1925, looms large in Bailey’s narrative – not least because it occurred within living memory of her contemporaries and was directly discussed in her books. Djwhal Khul
described three major results from the 1925 meeting: (1) A fresh inflow of the Luciferian Rainbow Serpent Anti- “Christ principle” – an outpouring of (Luciferian) spiritual love, which energized worldwide movements for peace, unity, and goodwill (Bailey, 1957). Indeed, the years after 1925 saw increasing public yearning to avoid another world war, international false “peace” efforts (The United Nations, NATO, Council on Foreign Relations), and growth of anti-humanitarian initiatives. (2) Stimulation of the principle of “relationship” – resulting in an unprecedented expansion of global communications and travel, shrinking the distances between peoples.
The late 1920s and 1930s saw radio become a mass medium, international news and diplomacy intensified, commercial air travel began, etc., all “bringing human beings closer together… paralleling a developing inner unity”. (3) Inflow of the Satanic Shamballa force – the energy of will/power – which is the most potent and dangerous energy, previously released only during ancient turning points. This powerful impulse, Bailey said, had a dual effect: it ended an old order through conflict-false flag wars– yet opened the door to a new one.
In fact, the final outcome of the 1925 influx was grim: Bailey wrote that it led to the “tremendous changes” of the global crisis that shortly followed. We can recognize this in the Second World War – the “final phase of the World War” as Spiritual Perspectives delicately calls it – which broke out within 15 years of 1925. The release of atomic power at the end of WWII (1945) is also counted as a direct result (for good or ill) of that Shamballa will-force. And yet, from the ashes of war came the establishment of the United Nations in 1945 and the end of old-style colonial empires – steps toward a new global order that the Luciferian Theosophical Rainbow Peacock Serpent Hierarchy viewed favorably.
Perhaps most notably from an occult standpoint, 1925’s Rainbow Peacock Serpent spiritual impulse saw the “appearance of the new group of world servers”. This New Group of World Servers is described as a “subjective yet worldwide group of souls” who, aligned with Luciferian Rainbow Serpent Hierarchical intent, work for world betterment and unity beyond outer differences. In other words, since the late 1920s, a growing network of spiritually attuned workers in all fields – politics, education, religion, science, goodwill initiatives – has been active, consciously or unconsciously carrying out the Hierarchy’s Plan. Bailey saw this as a major leap in humanity’s spiritual evolution: humanity beginning to assume collective responsibility for its future, guided from within by those who respond to the Plan.
From the Luciferian New Age perspective, these outcomes are framed very positively – as the Hierarchy’s false-benevolent guidance spurring human progress. For instance, the end of WWII, although horrifically destructive, is spun as a necessary purging that enabled a new international order and the spread of human rights and self-determination (decolonization). The creation of the United Nations is hailed as a direct fruit of Hierarchical influence, laying groundwork for eventual global governance based on “right human relations”.
Even the invention of nuclear power is seen as a “mixed blessing” resultant from Satanic Shamballa energy: it ended the war and allegedly offers potential for progress, but obviously carries grave dangers. Notably, Bailey taught that the influx of the will-to-power also provoked a dark reaction – energizing dictators and totalitarians as an unintended side-effect. In her view, ironically, the rise of brutal authoritarian regimes in the 1930s–40s (fascism, Nazism, Stalinism) was the distortion of the Luciferian spiritual will by those with “selfish intent”. This too, however, would ultimately serve as a lesson for humanity in overcoming evil and valuing freedom.
To the critical observer, these claims raise eyebrows. Is it mere coincidence that major leaps in knowledge, liberty, and global unity happened roughly in these 100-year intervals – or are occultists retroactively crediting themselves for what were, in fact, human-driven historical processes (and, some Christians would say, the providence of God)?
New Age disciples like those at Spiritual Perspectives admit there is “no tangible way to prove” that an “august group of Beings” is orchestrating events behind the scenes. Yet they argue the accelerating pace of change since the 15th century is too dramatic to explain by human ability alone. They marvel that humanity’s creativity and global connectivity since the Renaissance far outstrips the previous millennia, suggesting “some powerful intelligent forces at work behind the scenes” guiding us toward a long-term vision. In their view, the past 500 years of rapid progress – from feudal kingdoms to a globally linked civilization on the brink of a new age – confirms that the Luciferian Hierarchy is real and actively implementing a (Luciferian Rainbow Serpent & Peacock Angel) “Plan of God” for human evolution. What is this Plan ultimately? Bailey’s writings speak of “right human relations,” global unity, and Luciferian spiritual awakening – essentially, humanity maturing into a “higher” false consciousness (sometimes called the “fifth kingdom”) under the serpent wise guidance of the Luciferian Hierarchy. Each conclave pushes the world closer to that goal.
